The Strategic Technology Department is a newly established and fast-growing team dedicated to driving business-oriented development projects through innovative enabling technologies. We build Top Form's data systems that turn raw information into useful insights. Our pipelines and tools give teams reliable data to make better decisions, while helping everyone in the company work smarter with data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Governance: Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports data management. This includes selecting appropriate technologies, defining how data is collected, stored, processed, and used within the organization with ownership & accountability for data assets.
- Developing and Implementing Data Solutions: Develop or introduce feature engineering or self-service tools to meet specific business needs.
- Data Collection and Integration: Identifying & collecting data from various sources and integrated into a centralized system. This may involve building data pipelines, using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools. Ingest data from APIs, databases, logs into data lakes/warehouses.
- Data Transformation and Storage: Converting raw data into a usable format for analysis and reporting. This may involve cleaning, transforming, and structuring data to ensure it meets specific requirements.
- Data Quality and Reliability: Maintaining data quality and reliability by implementing data validation, monitoring data pipelines, and addressing issues that arise. Ensure they are operating smoothly for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data processing and retrieval. Make sure data is accessible when and where it is needed.
- Data Security: Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, if applicable. Protect data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in analytics, operations management, or data product R&D (with relational and non-relational database)
- Proficient in Python, SQL, DAX, and experienced with cloud platforms
- Familiar with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite (Office, Planner, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Experienced in database modeling, cloud computing, and big data technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to enable decisions with statistics
- Effective communicator and team player
- Able to create clear documentation for data pipelines, systems, and processes
- Quick learner, adaptable to new technologies and changing requirements
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position
