Manage the external Manufacturing process from capacity planning, order loading to delivery by coordinating with internal cross functional teams and 3rd party factories. The job holder will provide the leadership in establishing a collaborative system where both external teams and internal core teams would synergize to meet customer service level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for qualifying and/or uplifting subcontractors according to the prescribed qualification processes and procedures
- Lead the onboarding process of external factories with related customer’s requirement, including implementation of Top Form’s systems and training up of personnel in subcontractor factory, including planning process, technical process, manufacturing management process, logistic process
- Responsible for building the communications platform with internal and on the ground team
- Responsible for leading the communications with external factories related to capacity planning, order loading, scheduling, material schedule
- Ensure compliance of operational processes with regular monitoring and communications, both internally and externally
- Install and manage the production related sample management including progress tracking and delivery
- Manage external production facilities to ensure OTIF by follow up and analysis of regular production reports and data (examples and not limited to Production Schedule, Daily Output, WIP reports) submitted by the external factories, communications with leadership of external factories and on the ground presence as needed to drive compliance and performance
- Responsible for resolving issues for external manufacturer, including technical issues, customer information issues that might impact to shipment
- Manage all data processing related to external factories in internal systems to ensure accuracy and timely
- Lead the preparation of external factories Scorecard and work and follow up with the factories with improvement plan
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder, preferably in Supply Chain Management or textile related disciplines
- Strong knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes and best practices
- Production capacity and line planning knowledge
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, able to drive results through cross-functional working
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
- Excellent communication skill, able to explain complex topics and to inspire and influence others
- Experience in Project management is a plus
